About the role
Develops and implements policies and procedures which guide and support the provision of services and meet all productivity plans related to Pharmaceutical Optimization
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements policies and procedures which guide and support the provision of services and meet all productivity plans related to Pharmaceutical Optimization
- Deploys optimal item selection process to maximize savings - auto-substitution, package size, SKU standardization (strengths), contract commitments, etc.
- Delivers improved service in the Pharmacy space by managing stock through primary distributor
- Collaborates with local pharmacy directors to enhance reporting and process recommendations
- Creates standard purchasing controls to better manage costs
- Directs and manages staff to include assignment of work, evaluating, coaching, hiring and terminating
- Provides support for career development for associates
- Prepares budgets and ensures compliance with allocated funding to enhance team strategy
- Oversees inventory optimization process
- Manages reverse distribution and product expiration process
- Reviews and sustains standard operating procedures related to pharmaceutical optimization
Requirements
- High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required
- 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred
- Additional Preferences
- A Master’s degree
- 4+ years of professional experience with 2 years of people management
- Professional working proficiency of Google Workspace applications (Docs, Slides, Sheets, etc)
- Seeking experience in 340B medication management
