The position focuses on facilitating effective interaction for students and staff using American Sign Language (ASL), supporting an inclusive and accessible learning environment.

• Interpret spoken language into American Sign Language to aid communication between hearing and deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals within the school.
• Assist teachers and students by providing accurate and clear sign language interpretation during classroom instruction, meetings, and school events.
• Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure communication needs are met and to adapt instructional materials when necessary.

• Proficiency in American Sign Language with demonstrated experience in educational settings.
• Ability to interpret and convey complex concepts in a manner accessible to K-12 students.
