School Speech and Language Pathologist

A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve K-12 students in a school setting located in Wetumpka, AL. This role is ideal for a licensed SLP with certification of clinical competence (CCC) who has experience working within school environments.

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and screenings for students
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) targeting speech and language improvement
• Provide direct therapy services to students with communication disorders
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and inclusion
• Document and maintain accurate records of student services and progress reports in compliance with school policies

• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
• Experience or specialization in school-based SLP services
• Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Effective collaboration skills to work with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
