About the role
A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve K-12 students in a school setting located in Wetumpka, AL. This role is ideal for a licensed SLP with certification of clinical competence (CCC) who has experience working within school environments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and screenings for students
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) targeting speech and language improvement
- Provide direct therapy services to students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and inclusion
- Document and maintain accurate records of student services and progress reports in compliance with school policies
Requirements
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience or specialization in school-based SLP services
