Oncology Pharmacist

Join a leading Cancer and Infusion Center as a Travel Oncology Pharmacist. This role blends clinical expertise with research and education, supporting oncology patients and staff.

• Evaluate patient therapy for appropriateness, including age-specific adjustments and interventions to prevent adverse drug events.
• Conduct clinical research and professional development programs.
• Serve as a liaison across departments, providing operational and educational support for new treatment regimens.
• Oversee preparation of IV admixtures, chemotherapy, and sterile products; supervise pharmacy technicians.
• Maintain and manage medication inventory, develop/update departmental and nursing policies.
• Collaborate with the Oncology team to standardize ordering for chemotherapeutics.

• 5+ years acute care clinical experience.
• Ability to mix compounds required.
• ASHP-accredited PGY1 Residency in Oncology strongly preferred.
• Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy (BCOP) strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to work independently and supervise support staff.
• Must have own vehicle for travel.
