Classroom Assistant

An opportunity is available for a Paraprofessional to support students in a K-12 educational environment in Philadelphia, PA. This role involves working closely with teachers and staff to provide classroom assistance and individualized support to students, fostering an inclusive and effective learning atmosphere throughout the school year.

• Assisting teachers with instructional activities and classroom management
• Supporting students with academic and behavioral needs
• Supervising students in various school settings, including classrooms and common areas
• Collaborating with educators to implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintaining a positive and safe learning environment

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional or similar educational support role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work patiently and effectively with children of varying abilities
• Understanding of K-12 educational settings and student needs
