System Development Engineer, STRADA - Service Transformation and Deployment Automation

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on.

• Maintain the network tools/systems described above within US GovCloud and other US Government air gapped regions
• Troubleshoot problems with systems and services
• Regular deployment of new versions of the systems and their subcomponents
• Deployment/system validation and testing
• Service monitoring
• Standing up new services/tools
• Collaborate with people across AWS to help deliver the highest standards for safety and security
• Provide technical solutions to real business problems in a global organization

• Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
• Experience with Linux/Unix
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
