About the role
Provide radiological services to patients in accordance with physicians orders including EKG procedures. Maintain and operate radiology diagnostic / EKG equipment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnostic Testing: Performs general radiographic images through the use of clinical protocols and positions patients to best demonstrates anatomic area of interest, respecting patients comfort and ability.
- Diagnostic Testing: Perform EKG exams through the use clinical protocols.
- Customer Service: Provides timely, responsive, expert services to customers in a positive friendly manner, to include patient, physicians, and other fellow employees.
- Patient and Employee Safety: Maintains safe radiation levels at all times to minimize exposure to patient, self, and others.
- General Behavior: Observes patient during procedures and reports any unusual occurrences or changes in patients condition to appropriate personnel.
Requirements
- Minimum-one-(1)-year-of-diagnostic-experience.
- Graduation-from-an-accredited-school-as-a-radiologic-technologist.
- License,-Certification,-Registration: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certificate - Radiography OR Radiologic Technologist Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
