Actuary 3 – Supervisor

• Review and take actions on the rate filings submitted by health insurance carriers and perform actuarial work for financial analyses and financial examinations of domestic health insurance carriers.
• Performing calculation of reserves of domestic health and disability insurance carriers.
• Discussing findings with the financial examination team and carriers and writing actuarial reports.
• Supervising and directing health and disability actuarial analysts.

• Bachelor’s degree involving major study in actuarial science, economics, mathematics, statistics or a closely related field, AND Membership in the American Academy of Actuaries, AND Seven (7) years of professional health actuarial experience.
