We are excited to announce we now have an open position for a Part-Time Permanent, Registered Nurse 2 for our Swing Shift! Apply today and deliver skilled and compassionate care to our nation's heroes at the Washington Soldiers Home in Orting, Washington!

• Prepare, carry out, evaluate, and revise treatment plans for individual residents
• Pass medications, administer, monitor, and record treatments, and assess resident condition
• Suction patients, administer oxygen, catheterization irrigation; administer IV solutions, colostomy, and tracheostomy care
• Maintain gastric feeding tubes, pumps, and other skilled treatments
• Assist with routine rehabilitative and maintenance care
• Report and record physical and psychosocial changes and report actions and findings in medical records
• Coordinate communication between the physician social worker, psychologists, and practical nurses concerning nursing care and agency policies
• Promote resident participation in recreational activities

• Current Washington state registered nurse license or unencumbered registered nurse multistate license
• Must be proficient in the English language and be able to read, write and speak English
• One (1) year of experience as a registered nurse
• Long-term care experience
• Ability to provide a positive living environment for residents relating to meeting psychosocial needs
