Surgical Scrub Tech

Exceptional opportunity for a skilled Operating Room Technician to contribute to surgical care in a supportive healthcare environment.

• Assist with transportation and positioning of patients for surgical procedures
• Assemble and dismantle surgical tables and instruments before and after procedures
• Prepare patients and surgical rooms in accordance with protocols
• Open sterile supplies and set up instruments for surgery
• Complete skin preparation and draping of patients
• Aid surgeons by passing instruments and sutures efficiently
• Maintain accurate counts of instruments, sutures, and sponges
• Apply post-operative dressings and bandages as necessary
• Identify, collect, and care for surgical specimens
• Decontaminate instruments and equipment following strict guidelines
• Support efficient operating room turnover
• Monitor and restock surgical supplies

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Surgical Technologist exam (NBSTSA or NCCT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of six months technical experience or specialized training in the field
