About the role

The Juvenile Rehabilitation Counselor 2 (JRC2) supports adjudicated youth as they transition from institutional settings to community facilities

Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision and cognitive/behavioral treatment to youth
  • Interview and administer/interpret screening tools and assessments
  • Facilitate various groups and activities
  • Prepare youth and their families for the transition back to the community

Requirements

  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree and one year of professional experience
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or related field
