Special Ed Teacher

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the diverse learning needs of high school students with disabilities.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, counselors, and support staff to create inclusive classroom settings.
• Monitor, assess, and report student progress regularly to meet academic and behavioral goals.
• Foster a positive, supportive learning environment that encourages student growth and self-advocacy.
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to all special education laws and regulations.

• Valid teaching certification with a specialization in Special Education.
• Experience working with high school students in a special education setting.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations governing special education.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning abilities.
