• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families to support student success.
• Utilize specialized instructional strategies and assistive technologies to accommodate diverse learning styles.
• Monitor and assess student progress, modifying teaching methods as necessary to achieve educational goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory requirements and district policies.

• Valid Special Education teaching certification.
• Experience working with middle school students in a special education setting.
• Strong knowledge of special education laws, best practices, and behavior management techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
• Ability to adapt to various learning environments and support a collaborative team approach.
