About the role
The Senior Insurance Policy & Compliance Analyst (FPA4) position supports our agency’s mission by protecting consumers; by reviewing insurance policy forms and vehicle service contracts to ensure they comply with state laws and rules.
Responsibilities
- Review, evaluate, and approve insurance policy forms and related documents to ensure compliance with statutory provisions and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain the NAIC Insurance Product Locator database and Property-Casualty Glossary Manual so it provides current and accurate information.
- Help develop procedures to improve productivity and quality control in support of division goals.
- Support the Rates and Forms division to meet the goals outlined in the division Business Plan.
- Provide technical assistance to Information Technology staff on changes or enhancements to SIMBA.
Requirements
- Seven (7) years of related professional work experience in areas such as regulatory examinations; insurance underwriting, compliance, rating, or claims; health care consumer issues; or health care benefit plan design, distribution, or administration.
