AIML - Engineering Program Manager, Search

We’re looking for an experienced Program Manager to lead groundbreaking Search initiatives that play a meaningful role in the future of Siri Search and Apple.

• Build and run project timelines with clear dependencies, critical path and systematic methodology to communicate status.
• Handle risks and mitigations, and re-plan as events warrant.
• Drive alignment across the organization and between teams.
• Proactively identify and manage risks, close gaps with the ability to switch gears on projects in an agile manner.
• Keep teams on critical path with efforts to minimize distractions.
• Provide clear, timely and objective communication, including regular program status updates and one-off reviews as needed to executive team.

• 4+ years of experience in driving large scale programs building consumer facing software products (machine learning a plus but not required).
• Demonstrated ability bringing a consumer facing software product from concept to completion, ideally working on machine-learning features and/or sophisticated backend and front-end systems.
• Deep understanding of software development for consumer user facing products and services, and how analytics and evaluation data can help improve those products.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with demonstrated critical thinking capabilities.
• Strong desire to learn, skilled in problem solving, and the ability to make sophisticated trade-offs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation and ability to influence partners.
