• Establishes and prioritizes patient care based on nursing assessment and patient/family needs in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Directs and implements a plan of care for all patients based on the medical and nursing diagnoses identified during the initial assessment and ongoing assessment.
• Assures the documentation of the patients response to the medical and nursing plan of care in all areas of the electronic medical record in compliance with established nursing standards and protocols.
• Performs a cardiovascular assessment according to Standards and Protocol.
• Performs neurological assessment according to Standards and Protocol.
• Provides care for the patient requiring cardiac monitoring Standards and Protocol.

• Graduate of school of nursing with a minimum of an Associate of Science degree or diploma.
• Active Florida RN license required or active multi-state RN license.
• Maintain BLS Certification
• ACLS certification should be obtained within the first 90 days.
