About the role
Google's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another. Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimize the core metrics and SLO platform, focusing on scalability and data fidelity for Rollouts' critical user journeys.
- Apply advanced data science and analytics techniques (e.g., forecasting, anomaly detection) to transform raw data into high-value, actionable insights for product teams.
- Develop and extend robust data models of critical Rollouts usage patterns to enhance predictability and enable proactive capacity and reliability planning.
- Define and implement definitive product metrics and SLOs that measure and guarantee Rollouts' quality of service, including developing automated insights and alerting.
- Collaborate effectively across the Rollouts organization to drive consensus and adoption of data-driven improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
