About the role
Lead and coordinate the efficient and accurate abstraction work of the team. Lead the collection, validation and clinical quality review of patient-level data for national clinical quality initiatives. Provide guidance, consultation and best practice education to team members on the design and maintenance of registry and clinical databases in accordance to regulatory requirements. Abstract relevant data associated with assigned projects. Audit to ensure the integrity and accuracy of information collected and entered into the data collection system for their assigned projects. Proactively identify potential problems affecting the data collection process on assigned projects and coordinate follow-up of problem resolution. Prepare, present and interpret clinical quality data reports with clinical and leadership teams on quality improvement projects.

Requirements
- Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Additional Preferences: Oncology Data Specialist certification, 5+ years of oncology abstraction/registry experience preferred.
