About the role
Controls Technician ā Day Shift ā 6pm to 6am Join Our Team and Power the Future of Nutrition Manufacturing
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment, power systems, lighting, control systems, and PLC logic for production processes
- Work with electrical power (24Vā600V), automation controllers, VFDs, sensors, and inspection devices
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and instruments
- Lead and train team members; document and communicate shift activities clearly
- Support plant operations across packaging, processing, filling, warehouse, and facilities
- Respond to equipment emergencies, troubleshoot I/O systems, and communicate with production teams to minimize downtime
- Participate in electrical upgrades and monitor contractor work
- Maintain compliance with FDA, OSHA, and company policies
- Stay current with advancing technology through training and vendor programs
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Knowledge of electricity, electrical theory, PLCs, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to work safely in electrical panels up to 480 volts
- Proficiency in reading schematics and wiring diagrams
- Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
