Dialysis Technician

The Dialysis Technician under the direct supervision of the Clinical Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, performs general non-clinical duties, follows existing standards for maintaining water quality control according to AAMI standards, turns dialysis machines and restocks/inventories supplies.

• Demonstrates, through behavior, AdventHealth Orlando's service standards.
• Demonstrates through behavior AdventHealth's Core Values of Integrity, Compassion, Balance, Excellence, Stewardship and Teamwork as outlined in the organization's Performance Excellence Program.
• Maintains water quality in accordance to AAMI standards for Dialysis units
• Maintains stock and supplies in Dialysis unit
• Sets up hemodialysis machines per procedure
• Adheres to established policies and procedures for hospital department as well as unit standards

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• High school graduate or G.E.D.
• Central Supply course recommended
• Previous surgery experience (desirable)
