About the role

The Manufacturing Design Program Manager (MDPM) is responsible for managing and guiding development activities of highly skilled process development, operations, and quality teams within Apple's Manufacturing Design group

Responsibilities

  • Create process development schedules indicating critical path and key decision milestones
  • Facilitate communication and cross-functional alignment within the Manufacturing Design organization and with other Apple teams
  • Drive suppliers, integrate their deliverables and schedules into the overall project
  • Utilize a multi-functional team of engineers to meet overall program objectives
  • Lead meetings and document action items and progress
  • Identify and prioritize project tasks and risks
  • Hold team members accountable for meeting schedule commitments
  • Drive issue resolution and risk management in order to meet timeline
  • Coordinate weekly executive-level presentations, crafting the message and prioritizing the open items

Requirements

  • 7+ years of professional experience
  • 2+ years of program management experience with amplishmecconts in concept to market product development
  • Ability to travel internationally 25%+
