Informatics Pharmacist

Ascension Technologies is looking for a Informatics Pharmacist to support our Wisconsin market. In this role you will design, document, maintain and implement pharmacy information solutions. Collaborate on development and maintenance of pharmacy system standards. Assist users with the evaluation and selection of departmental applications, hardware and software. Serve as a project leader and liaison between designated departments and groups for implementation and support of fully integrated clinical systems.

• Continually improve work procedures and processes for unit(s) managed by working with technology professionals and managers to analyze system problems and develop solutions

• Data, information, and knowledge management: managing medication-related information while promoting integration, interoperability, and information exchange
• Information and knowledge delivery: delivering medication-related information and knowledge throughout the clinical knowledge life cycle
• Practice analytics: developing point-of-business analytic solutions for improving decision-making
• Applied clinical informatics: applying user experiences, research, and theoretical informatics principles to improve clinical practice and usability
• Leadership and management of change: leading and participating in the procurement, development, implementation, customization, management, evaluation, and continuous improvement of clinical information systems
