Classroom Assistant | Warwick, Maryland

A full-time paraprofessional position is available to support a speech-language pathologist with an elementary school caseload. This contract role spans a full semester and requires dedication to helping students improve their communication skills in a supportive educational environment.

• Assist the speech-language pathologist during therapy sessions with elementary-aged students.
• Support individualized learning plans and interventions to enhance speech and language development.
• Monitor student progress and assist in maintaining accurate records.
• Facilitate a positive, engaging environment to encourage student participation.
• Collaborate closely with the speech-language pathologist and educational team to meet student needs.

• Previous experience working as a paraprofessional in a school setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with young students.
• Familiarity with speech-language therapy methods and elementary education is a plus.
• Ability to follow directions and support individualized education programs (IEPs).
