About the role
Office Assistant 3, Full-Time - Permanent, Washington Soldiers Home
Responsibilities
- Assist nursing department with clerical duties
- Manage nursing station during resident meals
- Print MARS, TARS, and NAC Kardex
- Complete IT work orders as needed
- Assist nursing and NACs with PCC as needed
- Update nursing shift notes and schedules for residents' baths and vital signs daily
- Print and disperse medication admin audit report daily
- Complete missing POC documentation audit report daily
- Complete hospital transfer packets
- Notify staff via email of all changes in census beds
- Stock all copiers at the end of each shift
- Change toners and order backups as needed
- Serve at the secondary backup to staffing coordinator and nursing payroll
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Two (2) years of clerical experience
- Experience with multiple phones, copier, and fax machines
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Must be proficient in the English language
