About the role

Office Assistant 3, Full-Time - Permanent, Washington Soldiers Home

Responsibilities

  • Assist nursing department with clerical duties
  • Manage nursing station during resident meals
  • Print MARS, TARS, and NAC Kardex
  • Complete IT work orders as needed
  • Assist nursing and NACs with PCC as needed
  • Update nursing shift notes and schedules for residents' baths and vital signs daily
  • Print and disperse medication admin audit report daily
  • Complete missing POC documentation audit report daily
  • Complete hospital transfer packets
  • Notify staff via email of all changes in census beds
  • Stock all copiers at the end of each shift
  • Change toners and order backups as needed
  • Serve at the secondary backup to staffing coordinator and nursing payroll

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Two (2) years of clerical experience
  • Experience with multiple phones, copier, and fax machines
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Must be proficient in the English language
