Fiber and Capacity Delivery Lead, Global Network Solutions

As a Fiber and Capacity Delivery Lead, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish.

• Develop and implement standardized processes, tools, and best practices for on-time fiber deployment.
• Identify and prioritize initiatives to optimize vendor performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability, with a focus on operational metrics and scoring, continuous improvement, and innovation.
• Oversee a portfolio of hyperscale fiber deployment programs, encompassing long-haul dark fiber, metro fiber, and leased capacity solutions across multiple regions and continents.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders, including network engineers, carriers, vendors, and internal Google teams.
• Cultivate a performing team environment, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional growth.

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in program management.
• Experience with fiber optic network design, deployment, and operations.
• Preferred qualifications: 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
• Experience working with global carriers and vendors in the telecommunications industry.
• Experience with network automation and orchestration technologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
