About the role
A full-time Special Education Teacher position is available to support early childhood classrooms within a well-established educational service agency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s abilities and goals
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support student growth and inclusion
- Utilize specialized instructional strategies to foster academic, social, and emotional development
- Monitor student progress and adjust programs to meet evolving needs
- Communicate regularly with families and staff to coordinate effective support
Requirements
- Valid certification in Special Education
- Experience working with early childhood students recommended
- Strong understanding of diverse learning needs and evidence-based instructional methods
