Pharmacist

This contract opportunity seeks a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations in Red Oak, IA. The ideal candidate will have strong pharmacy skills with experience in dispensing and patient counseling. This role offers a chance to contribute to quality patient care through accurate medication distribution and professional pharmacy services. Additionally, this is a travel pharmacist position requiring flexibility to work in Clarinda, IA as well.

• Dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently
• Providing counseling and education to patients about medication usage and interactions
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize pharmaceutical care
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant pharmacy laws and regulations
• Managing inventory and maintaining records appropriately

• Valid pharmacist license in Iowa or eligibility to obtain one
• Experience as a staff pharmacist in retail or hospital pharmacy settings
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, drug interactions, and pharmacy technology systems
• Excellent communication skills and patient-centered approach
• Willingness to travel and work in multiple locations as required
