Graduate Intern, Corporate Safety

The Graduate Intern –Corporate Safety is responsible for the upkeep and communication of Delta’s OSHA program guidelines. This position helps ensure that Corporate Safety provides support to departments with Emergency Action Plan (EAP) development and assist with the updating of the Corporate Safety Policies and Procedures Manual (SPPM).

• Develop knowledge of regulatory and divisional compliance requirements
• Assist departments develop their Emergency Action Plans (EAP)
• Assist in the review and updating of the Corporate Safety Policies and Procedures Manual (SPPM)
• Support the OSHA program’s team with current initiatives as needed

• Qualified candidate must be enrolled as a current/active student in an accredited master’s program at a college and/or university.
• Currently obtaining master’s degree in Occupational Safety, Fire and Life Safety, or other Safety related field.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910, NFPA 101, and Emergency Management.
