General Manager | Industries Manager 5
Responsibilities
- Assigning the Service and Delivery Division to include transportation, warehouse and offsite incarcerated work crews
- Developing decision documents for change in business practices, equipment, or establishment of new staffing and/or industries
- Monitoring and ensuring program sustainability on the sale of CI products and services to ensure full cost recovery with margins to cover program reinvestment
- Working in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders on product offerings, vendor communication, and new product development
- Coaching, training and mentoring all direct reports in regard to personnel issues, forecasting, asset management, products, sales strategies, and customer service
- Resolving concerns and complaints with internal and external stakeholders
- Providing supervision and accountability to direct and indirect reports within the organizational chain
- Developing, documenting and collaborating with stakeholders on policy revision, standard operating procedure development/revision, and/or process improvements
- Reviewing and approving of annual forecasts in collaboration with internal stakeholders representing CI’s various lines of business
- Ensuring decisions and assigned direct reports are adhering to the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement, DOC Policies and Operational Memorandums
- Providing regular updates and information as needed for CI Advisory Committee and/or other requests for reports
- Oversight and management of contracts as needed related to assigned areas of responsibility
- Completing workplace investigations assigned by the appointing authority
- Serving as a backup to Logistics Manager, Install Manager and Fleet Manager in times of absence
- May be designated as the backup to the Assistant Director for CI HQ site
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent
- Minimum four (4) of budget administration and development
- Minimum four (4) years experience in a progressively responsible management or supervisory position
- Effective and skill in interpersonal communication, collaboration and critical thinking
