About the role
Responsible for the safety and security of Universal Orlando’s guests, employees, and company assets.
Responsibilities
- Ensures the safety and security of all guests and employees by performing a variety of roles including walking patrols, motorized patrols, and occupying various access control points.
- Utilizes radio telecommunication to report potentially unsafe, suspicious, or threatening conditions.
- Identifies prohibited items through routine screening of bags, packages, and deliveries and prevents said items from entering property.
- Conducts routine visual inspections of structures, buildings, carts, and safes to protect company assets during and after business hours.
- Responds to reported incidents, assesses the scene, and analyzes the situation using sound judgment all while collecting necessary information to construct a written witness statement.
- Assists and directs guests and employees during safety & emergency situations.
- Assists during daily operation, peak attendance periods and special events by consistently picking up shifts, overtime, and/or willingly moving to differ.
- Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.
Requirements
- Administration of CPR and/or First Aid, proper operation of an AED (Automatic External Defibrillator).
- Basic computer proficiency required.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
- Follow established EHS/JSA guidelines.
