Physical Therapist - School Setting

A part-time Physical Therapist opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting located in Dover, NJ. This position offers a full-semester engagement, providing services approximately 15-20 hours per week. The role involves delivering skilled therapy to students within the school environment, supporting their physical development and functional mobility to enhance educational participation.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students’ unique needs.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support student progress.
• Conduct assessments and document therapy outcomes in accordance with school policies.
• Provide hands-on therapy as well as recommendations for classroom adaptations and equipment.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) goals.

• Licensed or certified Physical Therapist with relevant credentials.
• Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred.
• Strong understanding of K-12 educational environments and related therapies.
• Ability to manage caseload effectively within part-time hours.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
