Post Exposure Licensed Practical Nurse PRN AdventHealth Centra Care All the benefits and perks you need for you and your family: Benefits from Day One Paid Days Off from Day One Career Development Whole Person Wellbeing Resources Mental Health Resources and Support Schedule: Per Diem Shift : one shift per week, (2) one overnight per month, (3) 24-hour total weekend shift per month, (4) one holiday per year Location: Seminole/Volusia County The role you'll contribute: The Post-Exposure Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for supporting the exposure needs of all clients in ways that will be customer driven and cost effective. This position requires the consistent demonstration of excellence in customer service, while adhering to policies and procedures, and to all rules and regulations applicable to local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Rapid HIV testing proficiency- Upon Hire Required Urine Drug Screen (UDS/FFD) Certification- within 30 days of hire Required The value you'll bring to the team: Works as a Per Diem employee on an on-call schedule, including day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. Travels to various client locations to provide treatment for exposures, including patient counseling, blood draws, and medication administration when indicated. Follows policies and procedures to reduce risk. Functions within a team while remaining confident when working independently. Interacts professionally with all clients and co-workers. Accurately documents in electronic medical records (EMR) in a timely manner. The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: Minimum qualifications: Technical/Vocational School Rapid HIV testing proficiency- upon hire Urine Drug Screen (UDS/FFD) Certification- within 30 days of hire Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Driver License, Valid and in State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT) Preferred qualifications: Occupational and/or employee health experience HIV Counseling National Notary Association Notary Public (NNANP) This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
