About the role

An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to provide expert therapy services in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to improve communication and swallowing functions.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with facility standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families to support functional independence and ongoing care.

Requirements

  • Current Idaho Speech Language Pathology license.
  • At least two years of recent clinical experience in rehabilitation or ARU settings.
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Familiarity with hospital and rehabilitation documentation protocols.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills adapted to acute care environments.
