About the role
An opportunity is available for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to provide expert therapy services in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to improve communication and swallowing functions.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with facility standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families to support functional independence and ongoing care.
Requirements
- Current Idaho Speech Language Pathology license.
- At least two years of recent clinical experience in rehabilitation or ARU settings.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Familiarity with hospital and rehabilitation documentation protocols.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills adapted to acute care environments.
