About the role
Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR) | Grand Forks AFB, ND - Soliant
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain interventional radiology exam rooms before and after procedures.
- Accurately identify patients and review their medical history, providing education on the upcoming exam.
- Administer contrast materials under physician direction following established protocols.
- Conduct pain assessments and take appropriate actions per standard operating procedures.
- Complete and code physician fee slips, ensuring accurate procedure documentation in electronic medical systems.
- Support the department by undertaking other duties as required.
Requirements
- Valid North Dakota Medical Imaging License issued by the state Radiation Therapy Board.
- Registration as a Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Demonstrated knowledge of interventional radiology practices and procedure coding.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
