Sterile Processing Tech

Responsible for decontamination, cleaning, assembly, and sterilization of supplies and instrumentation utilized throughout the facility following established national standards and infection control standards.

• Responsible for decontamination, cleaning, assembly, and sterilization of supplies and instrumentation utilized throughout the facility following established national standards and infection control standards.
• This position ensures that all medical instruments and supplies are properly sterilized and ready for use.
• This role adheres to strict protocols to maintain a sterile environment.
• In addition, this position collaborates with healthcare staff to ensure timely availability of sterilized equipment.
• This role monitors and maintains sterilization equipment to ensure optimal performance.

• High School Grad or Equiv Required or
• Technical/Vocational School
• Certified Registered Central Service Tech (CRCST) Preferred or
• Certified Sterile Processing Tech (CSPD) Preferred or
• Central Supply Tech (IAHCSMM) Preferred and
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Preferred
