Special Education Teacher

An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher in a K-12 setting in Oak Creek, CO. This position involves working with a caseload of approximately 7 students with Mild to Moderate special education needs, including those with cognitive impairments and other disabilities that require Significant Support Needs. The role is set for the current school year on a contract basis.

• Develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's specific needs
• Collaborate with related services staff to ensure comprehensive support for students
• Provide instruction and support to students with a range of disabilities in a specialized environment
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all regulatory requirements

• Valid Colorado Department of Education License in Special Education Generalist
• Experience working with K-12 students with Mild to Moderate disabilities, including cognitive impairments
