Director, Software Engineering

As a Capital One Director of Developer Experience, you’ll work on everything to enable customer-facing web and mobile applications using cutting-edge open source frameworks, to highly-available RESTful microservices, to back-end Java based systems and Machine learning models using the hottest techniques.

• Work on everything to enable customer-facing web and mobile applications
• Lead, manage and grow multiple teams of product focused software and DevOps engineers
• Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of engineers on your team
• Continuously improve software engineering practices
• Work within and across Agile teams to architect, design, implement, and support technical solutions

• At least 7 years’ experience in software development
• At least 5 years’ experience in people management
