About the role
Licensed Practicing Nurse (LPN) - Clinic
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with other health professionals in organizing, implementing, and evaluating quality of patient care
- Perform specific nursing duties within the scope of practice as stated in the Nurse Practice Act of Arkansas
- Administer injections per physician orders
- Instrument cleaning & packaging
- Exam room maintenance
- Monitor inventory and order patient supplies
- Review and update vaccines in the Athena HER
- Assist the provider with procedures
- Schedule and pre-authorize all outpatient diagnostic procedures and provider to provider referrals
- Coordinate provider schedules as necessary
- Perform diagnostic testing: ECG's, Spirometry and ear irrigation as needed
Requirements
- Current state LPN license
- Completed an LPN/LVN program from an accredited nursing school
- Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
- One year of experience preferred
- ASLS certification preferred
