Senior Solution Architect (Information Technology) – Universal Orlando Resort

The Senior Solutions Architect’s role is to strategically design global application architectures that support multi-park needs while also satisfying the tailored needs of individual parks. This Senior Architect will work closely with application owners and other solution architects to design integrations with security, performance, reliability, reusability, scalability, and maintainability in mind. Individual will also be involved in the design of new systems and critical platform and software applications including cloud technologies. Maintain an in-depth technical knowledge across Universal’s global portfolio of systems and platforms and act as a subject matter expert for other architects, delivery teams and support teams.

• Act as visionary and strategist for their solution domain area.
• Design global application architectures that support multi-park needs.
• Work closely with application owners and other solution architects to design integrations with security, performance, reliability, reusability, scalability, and maintainability in mind.
• Provide technical guidance over the implementation phase of solutions with cross-functional Agile teams across the organization.
• Provide technical guidance and provide technical mentorship to junior members of the team.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or similar essential required.
• 9+ years of IT experience with large integrated projects; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
