Radiology Tech Physician Office

Responsible for performing radiographic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Positions, moves, and assists patients to ensure accurate imaging results. This role performs clerical duties and provides basic patient care within the scope of practice and departmental standards. In addition, this position adheres to compliance plans and regulations of local, state, and federal agencies. The value you'll bring to the team: Cross-trains into advanced modalities as needed. Ability to follow basic radiation safety concepts of time, distance and shielding to keep exposure levels ALARA for patient and staff. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed: High School Grad or Equiv 2 experience in radiology or a new graduate of accredited radiologic technology program. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)
