About the role

Join a collaborative oncology team as a Traveling Oncology Pharmacist supporting cancer treatment and infusion services.

Responsibilities

  • Assess therapy appropriateness, incorporating age-specific modifications.
  • Provide clinical interventions and reduce adverse drug events.
  • Conduct clinical research and educational programs.
  • Oversee chemotherapy preparation and sterile product compounding.
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians, maintain inventory, and update policies.
  • Standardize chemotherapeutic ordering processes with the Oncology team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years acute care clinical experience.
  • Ability to mix compounds.
  • Strong preference for ASHP PGY1 Oncology Residency and BCOP certification.
  • Independent and capable of supervising support staff.
  • Own vehicle for travel is a must.
