About the role

WSDOT is currently seeking multiple Transportation Engineer 2s to conduct Program Monitoring for the Northwest Region Program Delivery Office in Shoreline, WA

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, process and archive work order authorization packages
  • Monitor, maintain and update project scope, schedule, cost estimates, and expenditures
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external office staff
  • Provide guidance and information to other offices relating to the Highway Construction Program

Requirements

  • Understanding of transportation engineering principles and practices
  • Ability to monitor, maintain, and update project scope, schedule, cost estimates, and expenditures
  • Ability to prepare, process and archive work order authorization packages
  • Ability to verify project funding using tools such as IBM Cognos, TEIS, or other accounting systems
