About the role
The Office of the Insurance Commissioner seeks a qualified individual for the Administrative Assistant 4 position
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support
- Serve as liaison between the Deputy Commissioner and division staff
- Attend meetings on behalf of the Deputy Commissioner
- Research and interpret policies, procedures, and regulations
- Maintain division records
- Coordinate investigations and responses to complex internal and external issues
- Manage the division's record retention and destruction schedules
- Prepare reports on division performance
- Support the division's strategic planning process
- Oversee division purchasing and supply management
- Act as travel coordinator for division staff
- Coordinate and respond to public disclosure requests
- Maintain up-to-date desk manuals and ensure procedural continuity
- Provide administrative support to the Manager of the Producer Licensing & Oversight Program
Requirements
- High school graduation or GED
- Four years of progressively responsible experience in office/clerical, secretarial, bookkeeping, accounting, or general administrative work
