Driver I

The Driver I performs daily assigned route and on demand duties to areas serviced to assure accurate and timely delivery of incoming/outgoing mail, linens, reports, packages, biological specimens, medical supplies, and patient records. The Driver maintains daily electronic and hard copy vehicle log of each stop performed in accordance with department performance measures. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Available for various and flexible shifts, especially nights weekends and holidays. Demonstrates, through behavior, AdventHealths core values of Integrity, Compassion, Balance, Excellence, Stewardship, and Teamwork Safely transports biological specimens, medical supplies, and related paperwork according to defined schedule or urgent request and in accordance with department expectations. Safely transports equipment, supplies, reports, and similar items according to department expectations. Mains the department philosophy of excellent customer service and a polite attitude under all circumstances. Ensures package tracking is executed accurately and successfully for all items.
