Claim Technical Assistant

Chubb is currently seeking a Workers’ Compensation Claim Technical Assistant for our Central Region. The successful applicant will be providing advanced technical support to our claim examiners for multiple jurisdictions.

• Provide technical support to claim examiners
• Maintain active file diaries
• Understand jurisdictional benefit rates and payment deadlines
• Accurate and clear documentation of claim activity
• Complete state required filings
• Communicate with involved parties on claim files
• Respond timely and appropriately to internal and external customers
• Adhere to state regulations
• Collaborate with peers in region to ensure adequate coverage
• Assist with contacts for examiner to make compensability decisions

• Prior clerical and technical experience
• Aptitude for evaluating, analyzing, and interpreting information
• Effective time management skills
• Basic understanding of Workers' Compensation and claim handling processes
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office products
