School Psychologist

A K-12 school in Troy, NY is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable School Psychologist for a contract position during the current school year.

• Conducting comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations to identify student needs
• Collaborating with educators, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs)
• Providing counseling and crisis intervention services to students
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing expert recommendations
• Monitoring and reporting on student progress and outcomes
• Promoting a positive school environment through targeted interventions and prevention programs

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
• Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience working with K-12 populations in educational settings
• Strong understanding of federal and state special education laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interpret data and provide clear, actionable recommendations
