About the role
Join our team and play a pivotal role in supporting the mission of the Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) by delivering innovative and effective financial solutions that promote fiscal responsibility and ensure transparency and accountability for employees and stakeholders alike
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the work performed by professional accounting staff involved in agency purchasing activities
- Conduct performance evaluations and develop performance measures and standards
- Conduct and participate in staff meetings by serving as a resource, offering solutions to problems that arise, and using the information gathered at the meetings to improve job performance
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree, which includes 18 quarter or 12 semester hours in accounting, auditing, or budgeting, AND four (4) years of relevant professional experience, and at least four years as a lead or supervisor
- Equivalent combination of education and experience totaling seven (7) years
