About the role

Responsible for the strategic recruitment of Hourly and Non-Exempt roles across Universal Orlando Resort. Supports the organization’s short & long-term hiring needs by developing strategies and executing initiatives to ensure timely and effective recruitment of right fit talent.

Responsibilities

  • Manage employment process and staffing plan for client groups
  • Proactively identify ongoing, future, and niche staffing needs
  • Identify success factors for high-impact roles
  • Develop behavioral interviewing guides
  • Provide training for hiring managers
  • Partner with Compensation to determine rates
  • Review online applications/resumes and source candidates
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines
  • Analyze trends and recommend staffing adjustments
  • Perform targeted candidate searches
  • Schedule interview appointments
  • Follow up on inquiries
  • Determine applicant qualifications
  • Make hiring decisions
  • Identify candidates for alternate roles
  • Schedule candidate interviews
  • Utilize staffing systems to prepare new hire paperwork
  • Plan and execute internal hiring events
  • Represent Universal Orlando Resort in community activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or Communication disciplines
  • 1+ year of hospitality or office experience
  • 3+ years Human Resources or interviewing experience
  • High volume recruiting experience preferred
