About the role
Responsible for the strategic recruitment of Hourly and Non-Exempt roles across Universal Orlando Resort. Supports the organization’s short & long-term hiring needs by developing strategies and executing initiatives to ensure timely and effective recruitment of right fit talent.
Responsibilities
- Manage employment process and staffing plan for client groups
- Proactively identify ongoing, future, and niche staffing needs
- Identify success factors for high-impact roles
- Develop behavioral interviewing guides
- Provide training for hiring managers
- Partner with Compensation to determine rates
- Review online applications/resumes and source candidates
- Build and maintain talent pipelines
- Analyze trends and recommend staffing adjustments
- Perform targeted candidate searches
- Schedule interview appointments
- Follow up on inquiries
- Determine applicant qualifications
- Make hiring decisions
- Identify candidates for alternate roles
- Schedule candidate interviews
- Utilize staffing systems to prepare new hire paperwork
- Plan and execute internal hiring events
- Represent Universal Orlando Resort in community activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or Communication disciplines
- 1+ year of hospitality or office experience
- 3+ years Human Resources or interviewing experience
- High volume recruiting experience preferred
