Responsibilities

  • Initiate operations, case management, and enforcement activities for the enforcement program within the Public Disclosure Commission (PDC).
  • Work independently to handle routine investigative and enforcement matters, including those requiring hearings before the full Commission.
  • Initiate audits of regulated entities, provide guidance to filers for compliance, and respond to inquiries regarding the application of public disclosure laws, respond to inquiries from complainants and respondents during the initial filing of complaints and manage initial and routine enforcement activities with minimal supervision.
  • Draft letters, utilize agency data to ensure compliance and track program effectiveness, collaborating with internal and external customers to provide the public with timely and meaningful data, supporting senior staff with more complex issues, and providing strategic guidance in the development and implementation of program policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • At least two (2) years of experience in investigations, regulatory analysis, compliance, auditing, communications, law, program administration or a related field.
