Special Education Teacher - Kilgore, TX

This Early Childhood Special Education teaching position provides an opportunity to work with young learners aged 2 to 5 years in a resource inclusion classroom setting. The role involves managing a caseload of approximately 15 students alongside two paraprofessionals, fostering an inclusive and supportive educational environment. The position is located in Tyler, TX, with a contract duration for the upcoming school year and a schedule from 7:15 AM to 2:45 PM, Monday through Friday.

• Developing, writing, and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs
• Collaborating closely with related services staff to ensure comprehensive support for students
• Creating and maintaining a positive, engaging classroom atmosphere to promote student growth and learning
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting instructional strategies accordingly

• Texas State License with a Special Education EC-12 Endorsement is required
• Proven ability to write and implement IEPs effectively
• Comfortable working in a resource inclusion classroom with young children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, essential for collaborating with paraprofessionals and related services personnel
